110901 SMTOWN NYC seating chart released, stage runway layout unveiled

SM Entertainment’s concert extravanganza starring the entire SM family, “SMTOWN”, has raised excitement as news spread of it being scheduled to hit New York. The concert will occur on October 23rd at Madison Square Garden in New York City. An SMTOWN NYC seating arrangement has now been posted on the official Livenation website.
The much-anticipated stage layout for SMTOWN NYC has been showcased via the seating chart as well. The floor will be split into three different sections with the runway separating them, as opposed to the SMTOWN LA floor layout of four sections. Ticket details have yet to be revealed.
In other news, SMTOWN is set to perform multiple dates in Tokyo on the nights of September 2nd to 4th, with an estimated attendance figure of 150,000.

110901 Super Junior will not be accompanying Heechul to his enlistment

SM Entertainment has revealed that the members of Super Junior will not be accompanying fellow member Heechul’s enlistment at the Nonsan training camp on September 1st.
According to SM, the members will say their farewells to him at the dorm before his leave.  Considering that other singers usually accompany their members to the site, this piece of information comes as a surprise to fans.

As it turns out, Heechul specifically made the request himself.  He had told the members, “Don’t come out to greet me goodbye.” Due to his car accident in 2006, Heechul will be serving as a public service personnel instead of an active duty soldier, so he didn’t want his enlistment to be too over the top.

In addition, he’ll be back home after his four months of service is up, so he’ll only be away from his members for about a month before he’s allowed to attend his service from home.
Heechul will not be having a press conference at the scene of his enlistment and will be entering as quietly as possible.

110831 Super Junior’s Kyuhyun says, “He was being mean to me”

Super Junior’s Kyuhyun told stories about his initial acceptance into the group Super Junior.
Kyuhyun appeared on SBS’s Strong Heart, which was aired on the 30th, and said, “I became a member after two months of training.”

Kyuhyun joined the group six months after Super Junior’s debut. There were twelve members in the group so he thought may be the other members would resent him.

He said, “When we first met, the members didn’t really like me, because I didn’t bow down to them. When I first moved in to the house with the other members, I didn’t even have my own bed. I slept anywhere I could for the first nine months.”

Ryeowook said, “One night, after drinking a lot of alcohol, Kyuhyun broke down crying and told me that he was having a hard time because of Leeteuk.”
Leeteuk was surprised but responded, “They can say that to me now because we are friends. We are comfortable in our friendship.”
