Super Junior released their 5th album “Mr. Simple” on August 3rd and it has been announced that Version B of their album will be released on August 22nd. Version B will include all 12 regular tracks of Version A, but will also feature the song performed during Super Junior’s comeback stage, “Superman,” for a total of 13 songs.
“Superman” is a hip-hop song in which Super Junior performed with a passion on stage during their comeback two weeks ago.
In addition, the covers of Version B shows a radical transformation of the group. Version B’s cover shows a more masculine Super Junior as they are dressed in military clothing and a scope pointing at them. Overall, the strong appeal Super Junior shows in the covers are bound to have fans excited to get this copy of the album.
According to Hanteo’s chart from January 1st to August 16th, they have achieved the #1 album sold this year with 130,000 copies sold so far. This marks Super Junior’s 2nd year in a row, after last year’s “Bonamana” release, to sold over 100,000 copies.Source: Newsen, Yes24, koreaboo
